New Microsoft Access Features Out For Insiders’ Testing?

I thought I’d simply share a quote from a UA forum discussion:

Improvements to Modern Charts including several new chart types will be released to the current channel in Aug/Sept

Users on Insider Channels may already be able to see early versions of these now. I have had them since yesterday but haven’t yet looked at the new functionality

Similarly, an early release of the new Monaco SQL editor is now available in the Beta Channel. I have been looking at thatColin Riddington

So if you’re an Insider, you may already be in a position to preview and test the initial versions of the new Modern Chart improvements and the new SQL Editor.

Sadly, you can’t find any information on these newly released features. No mention in the Insider’s Release Notes, nothing on the Roadmap, nothing on the official Access Blog, …. !

What a missed opportunity, yet again. They could be promoting their works, engaging with users, getting feedback.

Instead people aren’t aware, so won’t test, won’t provide feedback, so the Dev Team then will either take that as meaning everything is good with the feature, or people aren’t interested in the feature.

Just sad!
