Just a quick heads up that Microsoft has finally released the ‘Zoom Slider Magnification’ feature on the BETA channel. Originally planned for June 2025, then pushed back to September 2025, then pushed back to October 2025 and now finally BETA released as of March 17th, 2026.

I’ll also add that this new “feature”, which I assume is meant to align it with functionality available for the past 20 years in every other Office application, leaves me unsure why it was actually developed, as I don’t recall ever seeing any requests for it. I personally believe such limited development resources as those of the Access Dev Team would have been much more better used addressing the Web Browser control or Monaco SQL Editor issues, or even developing one of the, actual, top Feedback Portal suggestions (or one of the 34+ suggestions they deleted): Modern Controls, Better Date Picker, Ribbon Creation tool, Pivot Tables and Charts, Bar Code & QR Code generator, …
