MVP Awards Issued Today

I thought I’d just share that today was the big day in the Microsoft MVP community as today was the day that MVPs were awarded/re-awarded their MVP title.

You can use the search page to examine how the current awardees are in the various fields/countries/…

If you specifically are interested in the Access, Excel … awardees use the Technology Area filter and check the Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, … check box under the MS365 heading.

Access MVPs

So far, from what is listed, in the MS365 – Access field, we have the following MVPs:

  • Abdallah Ally (Tanzania – 1st award)
  • Adrian Bell (not on Microsoft’s website no clue why)
  • Alfonso Lenis (Colombia – 9th award)
  • Colin Riddington (United Kingdom – 3rd award)
  • Doug Yudovich (United States – 16th award)
  • Daniel Pineault (Canada – 14th award)
  • George Young (United States – 2nd award)
  • Gustav Brock (Denmark – 8th award)
  • Juan Jose Luna Aleixos (Austria – 2nd award)
  • Karl Donaubuer (Austria – 26th award)
  • Luke Chung (United States – 13th award)
  • Maria Barnes (United States – 7th award)
  • Mike Wolfe (United States – 3rd award)
  • Peter Doering (Germany – 21st award)
  • Richard Rost (United States – 4th award)
  • Yuhong Wang (China – 20th award)

So that would make for 16 Access awardees as of the time of writing this article.

Note that the awards count is not 100% accurate in some cases due to an adjustment made by Microsoft to the MVP program a few years back and that the award count does not necessarily imply that the recipient has always been awarded for their contribution to Access in the past (it may also have been for another area of expertise).
