This is a great opportunity to explore and dabble with Azure at absolutely no cost!
I will formally state that I have used Azure SQL Databases in production and have been VERY happy with their performance. The Azure management portal can be confusing and pricing is steep, but the service is excellent. So the old adage applies, “you get what you pay for”.
Cool – good to know – I’ve actually got multiple subscriptions I wonder if they really mean by account.
I am guessing you are allowed to take it up if you are an existing customer who already uses SQL Azure.
